Allan McCoy Jr says:

I remember here in Belize, it was shown on Tropical Vision Channel 7. From
1984-1987 and then it transferred to Baymen’s Broadcasting Network Channel
9 from 1986-1992. But currently, It is on Great Belize TV Channel 5 from
1992-present

thompson haire says:

THIS. IS. AMAZING!!!!

Adam Mainse says:

Jeopardy was originally shot underwater apparently.

Richard Bowley says:

I remember when “Jeooardy!” first aired at 12:30 in the afternoon on KYW-TV
(then a NBC affiliate) before it was switched to it’s current station, WPVI
in 1985-86. BTW, WPVI starting on September 8, will air a daytime episode
of “Jeopardy!” at 2:30 in the afternoon, going somewhat full circle after
30 years.

Adam Kringel says:

Lois is transparent, See 0:25.

AndyLou63 says:

Lol, and Battle of the Decades began this month. This was decades ago. :p

francisjairam says:

Even if Alex Trebek retires Jeopardy will keep going.

Dan Barker says:

But the 1984 pilot is the one that was eventually, sold wasn’t it?

josh taylor says:

@abc21abc2123 i have a request for you

sneeyize45 says:

Does anyone else feel that Trebek looks like he is a 1970’s porn star? (I’m
glad he got older out of that look. He actually looks better older.)

alittle1985 says:

wow… can’t believe the show is that old!

Tiberian Fiend says:

Filmed entirely underwater.

Aerii Graham says:

Lol humon

SPRPhilly says:

Glad the practice of applauding after every correct answer was stopped.

Joanne Cosimano says:

Has anyone noticed that the Final Jeopardy answer/question refers to a
Holiday first observed in 1986? when the episode aired in 1984? Is this the
first occurrence of time travel on television? “WHAT IS THE TARDIS?” for
$400, Alex?

HayesHacker0NE says:

I don;t think so. Once a long serving host is gone, the show will die

Dan Barker says:

@abc21abc2123 I think Jeopardy! ended in 1974, cause Wheel of Fortune
premeired on NBC in it’s slot hosted by Chuck Woolery.

abc21abc2123 says:

@alittle1985 Did you know but this is only the revival Jeopardy! was
started on 1964 and stop in 1975, back in 1978 stop on 1979. And there are
the pilot of Alex Trebek in 1983 and 2nd pilot in 1984 and finally this
episode aired in September 10,1984

blakshema says:

they have keys and ring?

Zach W says:

Trebek…he’s so…young. O.o

Timmy Menard says:

It still happens in the THQ Games of Jeopardy! especially the Sega CD
version by Sony Entertainment.

Joseph Chakyamury says:

Things haven’t changed much…except you can win more money now.
