jguth6 says:

Big up Richard. GREAT to see someone tell people to spend their money in
better ways than just giving it away to streamers.

I hate to see the streamers getting so much donations, you just know a lot
of those donations are from young people who could be spending it on better
stuff.

Donated £5 to MSF (doctors without borders)

fLiPnoTTiC says:

you and thoorin should go a show together

Oliver Buhl says:

This is really great, but try to make it more 50/50, this felt abit too
League focused.

Amuny says:

Valkryn is a League genius. I think his play level is absolutely great and
would be an awesome asset to an LCS Team, but more than all, I totally see
him as an analyst. Been following him since a while, and his thought
process is amazing. He even made a few prediction about the meta shifts
before they happened.

In either way I wish him the best, and this discussion was super
interesting.

dave997 says:

if you have enough time in your day to sit and listen to 2 hours of nerd
drama about computer games you should uninstall the internet and go get a
job

Vita. x. says:

just followed valkrin glad you brought him on, sucks that try-outs are a
popularity contest makes lcs boring imo. Same thing with people like
elementz becoming a coach.. like really?

imwithyou38 says:

richard and thorin are two of the best journalists in sports. they are
straight up and dont beat around a bush. they do more then 1 e sport
amazingly which would take so much time to thoroughly get to that point.
you either love them or you hate them. thank you producing the content u
do. i hope u read this

Henklahki Gundau says:

Having a group with sister teams may also be key in progress because they
are allowed to practice against each other without leaking key strategies
(under some kind of team and organization integrity). They can almost
always have the access to practice against these teams (in relation to the
Western teams slacking or missing some practices) as they are under the
same organization and most likely have the same schedules planned out.

Bob Dole says:

As someone who bought tf2 and loved it until it went f2p you’re on point
about what they can do to reimburse the player. Valve essentially gave
older players the finger and simultaneously introduced a large number of
trash players, both in attitude and skill.

pogpo ryung says:

this show is gonna be fulled with bias people with strong opinions. that
fact that it is call in based only those with the strongest bias opinions
will bother to make an effort to share it.

Cloud Carry says:

@ 1:34:30 I have to disagree to the comparison between baseball, football
and league of legends.

Players make way more in those games, there are vastly more competitive
players, there are many more incentives to those sports than esports and
the comparison doesn’t hold up.

There is too much of a disparity when you consider that the bottom 50
percent of athletes are still very successful. If you are in the bottom 50
percent of athletes in terms of performance in esports, you lose your job.
The comparison is nowhere near relevant.

Granted, that the popularity of some of these bigger mainstream sports
could not be as strong as in the future and we have shown every indication
that esports is growing still, the comparison may become more relevant
someday, but that day is not today.

Wizardi1111 says:

Isn’t the shows name Trash Talk? There was barely any in the show. I liked
the topics they discussed, but next time I wanna hear some real trash talk
:P

evan mahoney says:

WOOHOO LOGAN MY BLOOD BROTHER

TBN1337 says:

Richard + Valkyrin = The new Travis and doublelift story???? 2015
confirmed!

WitlessMean says:

As for 1v1 games? Everything you described around 1:30:00=Fighting games ie
street fighter. Are you not familiar with the fighting game community by
any chance or do you just think starcraft is pretty much the definitive 1v1
environment?

Johnnie Meredith says:

Richard Lewis Trash Talk too strong… So glad you’ve been doing more of
your own videos.

APPLEPIE978 says:

A topic list with timestamps in the description would be nice, like what
Thoorin did. Otherwise, really nice content.

OnlyElfen says:

Great point around 2:04:07 for some reason in NA, they forget to
differentiate between a SoloQ players performance and what that means for
their potential in professional play. It still blows my mind that that can
happen. I feel like they’re being lazy, they’ll bring up any half ass
excuse just to give less of an opportunity to others meaning they don’t
even have to think about trying them out, why do that when you can keep it
in house and satiate the community

Filmore Johnson says:

Loved the show and Valkyrin, can you put in the description when this show
airs? I assume it’s the same time every week but I don’t know when.

Sharpy Gvet says:

Really glad to see this back! Keep up the good work Richard!

Midnight Nightmares says:

Proof that Monte is full of shit: TSM grabs Amazing and Gleeb and he (and
thoorin) goes on and on about what trash players they are and how they are
suck and have no impact in games. ANNNNNND then he goes and recruits Seraph
and even tho seraph had just about the same amount of impact as Amazing and
Gleeb he aint say shit (neither does Thoorin). Hypocrite much??

Mike O'Brien says:

Really classy dude. Not asking for donations and telling people to donate
to actually good charities. World Food Programme is one of my favorites.
I’ve streamed some league to raise money for hospitals and WFP. I’ll
definitely try my best to watch this live without adblocker. I just liked
and subscribed also.

You kick ass dude.

DaRabbiit says:

isnt good game agency a marketing company that handles all the stuff not
related to the video game?

SniperPVP says:

Also on the kespa rule changes we will see samsung galaxy and then android
universe

Spektorius1 says:

region lock is by far the worst thing to happen to starcraft, what the fuck
does that even do? Give foreigners some free money cause they are absolute
trash cans and cant compete with koreans? The whole ‘foreigner hope’ thing
is so 2011 nobody cares for trash players anymore. region lock = cause of
ebola

Oliver Armitage says:

learn to put timestamps on your videos

Eran Beaucaire says:

Fkn hell mate, great content! Got lucky on the callers there too!

Борис Маринов says:

Yo, Richard, amazing video. Would love to see more of these. One question
though – What’s the name of the song in the beginning?

fLiPnoTTiC says:

this was actually a decent listen

OnlyElfen says:

With regards to NA scouting, that’s all so true and a serious issue IMO, NA
has been a popularity contest for so long, which is why you see so many
swaps instead of actual changes, and I think it’s because they simply cared
less about winning, IMO scouting and watching high challenger games like KR
should be MANDATORY for the scene as a whole, it’s ridiculous how many
aren’t being given an opportunity, however I think with the way NA SoloQ is
there are so many relationships involved that it’s a tad unrealistic to
expect them to just ignore their friends when considering a tryout. That
and the people actually scouting should be someone like Scarra, retired
high quality experience with enough knowledge to be fair and make a good
judgement. Then when it comes to EU, this is less of an issue? However
there is so much freaking salt and bad blood in high elo EU that some are
also just straight up ignored so… people need to put their goddamn ego’s
away for professional play holy shit it makes me so mad, I understand
they’re kids or its human nature or whatever, but still goddamn is it
frustrating.

SniperPVP says:

#tsm reddit relationship

OnlyElfen says:

Richard Lewis says:
LxxPxRD says:

While I agree that people might always speculate about sister teams, none
of the examples you used have anything to do with sister teams, and could
and did happen regardless of any sort of sister team system. A better
example would have been the many questionable teamkill games in Starcraft
where say two SKT players have met and an ideal result for the team as a
whole came about.

scragamanga says:

on the korean 1 team rule:big part of the reason is more influx of money
not less, top teams get value for their money, after top 4-6 not so much, the
tournament system doesnt guarantee exposure->so less incentive to
invest.risk reward ratio isnt good.If they dont change anything now they
wont be competitive in a couple of years.
Lack of money is clearly seen in korean players goin to china and NA.It is
one thing to give players an extended life,it is another thing if your
future star players are goin abroad.

sebastainschank says:

The campain DLC you are talking about is exactly what loadout is doing
right now.

Hydrogencar Hellow says:

if u want more views u need to put small topics and stuff and timestamps..
many people dont want to watch a 3hour video.
