Richard is like TotalBiscuit’s long lost twin.
Who is this new interviewer/anaylyst? He certainly isn’t impressive.
Compared to MonteCristo he’s garbage-tier. And his British accent is
fucking annoying. OI M8 CULD I HEV A CUP OF TEA M8, is literally all I can
hear in this video. I don’t think this job fits him very well, he’ll always
be a subpar intervier/analyst at best. You basically need an American
accent to be entertaining and have people understand you more clearly.

Concerning Good Game, I also think it’s mostly Twitch handing down some of
the money they got from Amazon. Exactly for that reason I don’t like that
they bought Good Game – they could have just as well invest some of the
money into improving the site (fix the VOD muting, file format and other
stuff), hire sales people to get CPMs back up again and announce *increasing
the support for all teams and streamers officially sponsored by Twitch*.
Rifkin is just fine, people probably just didn’t like/expect the second
stream to be community-cast. I like Rifkin way more than the “pro” casters
who used to be analytical but because players started casting and are way
better at it the pro casters sloped down to play-by-play screaming and fake
hype.

okay
that was a great point you made about rifkin being something that the
community needs on top of being something that it wants (even if in some
cases they dont realize it yet). you getting kudos for the same reason that
rifkin was getting flack is a great illustration of how a community can
project its perceptions onto its leading figures without realizing it.
